Upgrading to Modern NITRO Studio (3.0) – Installation & Timing

I want to ensure we’re fully prepared and avoid any disruptions, such as challenges with custom scripting. For example, I’ve followed the instructions in How to enable scripting capabilities with PowerShell - Crow Canyon Software Support, but Microsoft is disabling custom scripting every 24 hours, requiring manual re-enablement. I’ve also tried using the command
Set-SPOTenant -DelayDenyAddAndCustomizePagesEnforcement $True, but it no longer seems effective.To help ease concerns from management and ensure a smooth transition, could you share any resources or a plan that addresses the timing, impact, and other important considerations for the upgrade? A document or video covering these points would be greatly appreciated.

We are deep into testing the upgrade process internally. We expect to have clear documentation on the upgrade process by December 1, 2024. We'll be providing videos and resources to our customers once we finalize the upgrade process from v2.5x to v3.0x.
We are also actively working to remove custom scripting from NITRO. Every new update to NITRO removes a little bit more of this custom scripting. This is an ongoing process, and we expect to have it completed in Q1 2025.

We have information in our blog post here which talks about the timing of when add-ins will stop working (April 2, 2026): Impacts on NITRO Studio | Crow Canyon.
We are deep into testing the upgrade process internally. We expect to have clear documentation on the upgrade process by December 1, 2024. We'll be providing videos and resources to our customers once we finalize the upgrade process from v2.5x to v3.0x.
We are also actively working to remove custom scripting from NITRO. Every new update to NITRO removes a little bit more of this custom scripting. This is an ongoing process, and we expect to have it completed in Q1 2025.
