Request for Timely Release Notes and Rollback Option for NITRO Studio Updates
Quote from pf-amalin on February 26, 2025, 12:35 pmWould it be possible to provide timely Release Notes when a NITRO Studio update becomes available? This would help administrators understand what changes are included before deciding when and if to apply updates.
Currently, it feels like we are taking a risk with each update, as we have no visibility into what might change or potentially impact existing functionality. The existing Release Notes and Version Log often lag behind updates by a month or more, making them less useful for planning purposes.
Of particular concern are back-to-back releases within days of each other, which often indicate fixes for issues introduced in a prior update. Having clear and up-to-date release documentation would allow us to make more informed decisions.
Additionally, I would strongly advocate for a rollback option to revert an update in case unforeseen issues arise. This would be invaluable for mitigating potential disruptions in production environments, especially when administrators must report on the upgrade process to management.
Thank you for your consideration. Implementing these improvements would greatly benefit those responsible for maintaining and deploying NITRO Studio.
