I know form fields have a permission option. Could it be possible that one of the options be an obscured like when you put in a password all you see is stars or dots?

This is a good suggestion. I'll talk to the team about adding this to our roadmap.

I would also include the ability to turn on "eye" icon to allow the user reveal what they're entering at their discretion (we've had a lot of requests for this lately)
