NITRO XML files displaying to users
Quote from pf-amalin on May 18, 2023, 6:38 pmIs there a way to prevent edits to NITRO forms, etc. from appearing to all users in SharePoint's standard pages and web parts? For instance, the default "Sites" and "Highlighted content" web parts each displays these files which confuses our users and makes our IT department appear less professional, and I'd like to clean it up. Is there a way to prevent the "behind the scenes" actions from appearing to our users?
Here is a screenshot of a 'sites' webpart that appears by default on the homepage for a SharePoint site, each link points to a NITRO .XML page:
Thank you.

We have investigated this, and it is not possible to hide these xml files from ‘Site activity’ web part. This web part can be deleted from the site home page.
We tried to hide these files by making the Site Assets library as hidden but the files are still shown. As per online search, currently there is no option in SharePoint to exclude files from a library from coming up in. Whenever this support is added, we will hide these files.
