Starting with NITRO Studio v.1.1.0.201, you'll be able to preview permissions for other users in the Preview pane in NITRO Forms!

Let's say you want to only show a tab on a form to a group called "Finance" where this tab is hidden for everyone else. As the admin setting up the permissions, you would need to have a user in the Finance group available to test the permissions, or otherwise have a second login account that was set up in the Finance group.

Now, you can mimic the Finance group permissions directly through the preview pane. When you click preview, you'll get an option to select one or more groups to see how the form will look for them! (see screenshot below).

Note: Since Edit and Display form previews contain actual list data, the user who is testing permissions through the Preview function will only be allowed to select groups that they already have access to. They can't select a group that they can't access. This is so that we don't inadvertently expose sensitive information.
