ID # not showing in edit mode

Page 1 of 2Next

When the form is in view the erf # shows, however when you select edit to make changes to the form, the erf # is not available.  How can I correct this to show the number? Screenshots are attached.

Hi @julie.stiles@fcso.com,

I usually see that happen if the field is a calculated column. Calculated columns, by design, only show on the display form. What type of column is the ERF # column?

@james

It is a counter column.

Hi - have you had an opportunity to research this problem?

Hi Julie,

This issue could happen if any form event actions are configured to update the "ERF #" column value on the edit form.

Please go to the list -> List Settings -> Crow Canyon NITRO Forms -> Advanced -> Form Event Actions -> Check if form event action is configured to update the "ERF#" column value.

Also, please let us know when this issue is happening, like on edit form load or any column value change.

Hello - this is happening when we are opening the form to edit.  I checked the Form Event Action and it is not configured to update the "ERF#" column value.

Thank you!

Julie
