Dynamic File Uploads Possible
Quote from lnbryant on March 25, 2025, 11:44 amIf possible, I'd really only like to upload the files for an outage/when they need to be emailed, and not all the daily report files for each location (I was thinking that a new Business interruption event item is created, the related files auto upload and then an email is generated to complete the process. The info would be stored for tracking/reporting purposes). The file name format is (ie Location Name Appointments for 03-24-2025 AM.pdf or Northside Appointments for 03-24-2025 AM.pdf). Thanks!

Quote from supportTeam on March 28, 2025, 9:52 amThanks for the details, accessing network drive from browser will be difficult as there could be security restrictions. Please check if you can upload the files to a SharePoint library in site contents.
Also we need an unique identifier for the file name to identify which file is to be attached to which list item in SharePoint. Based on this details, we can try setting up a custom script in custom action to search files in the document library, attach them to list item and process required send mail action in the custom action.
If these files cannot be uploaded to a library in SharePoint, then we will need to setup a webservice on top of network drive to retrieve files, search and then attach to SharePoint list items.
