Customize Unique IDs for Forms
Starting with NITRO Studio v1.1.0.211, you will see a new app in the NITRO Studio page: ID Column!
This new column type will allow you to configure a custom-designed ID for any new item added to the SharePoint List. You can use placeholders from the list item to build the Custom ID, along with date fields like Created, and other functions. You can also use conditions to determine whether to generate the custom ID or not.
For instance, to configure a setting to generate the word Project with the Date, you can use a set up similar to the third screenshot. The output will be "Project 05-10-2021".
To configure a new ID column, go to the ID Column app in NITRO Apps, create your Column, and then add it to your form through NITRO Forms. You can learn more about the new app and how to use it here: ID Column (crowcanyon.info)
Note: This app is currently available for O365 customers only. Stay tuned for the release to on-premises customers.
